One of the fastest moving sprites out there. Need some info taken from point A to point B before anyone knows what's happening? You want a Courier.
Before I tell you what abilities a baseline Courier can use, let me tell you about its powers, Cookie.bat and Hash.bat.
When Cookie is used, the Courier tries to place a tracking tag on an Icon. In order for this to happen, the Courier must win an
So what can a Cookie find? It can find every place an Icon goes to, and everything it does! For example, if your target opens a messaging app, you won't be able to see what was said, but you can see who they were talking to, and with a detailed list, you can even see how big the files were if any were sent! If the Icon summons some Agents... or Sprites of their own, you'll know when they did it, where they did it, and with a really in-depth log, you could even see how powerful the program was!
That is the biggest issue with the Cookie Power. If the Icon rolls 4 hits on a M. Perception Test, it'll be able to find the Cookie, and they'll only need 2 hits with a Computer + Edit test. The Cookie's Resonance made, but it's still just a piece of code, and so anybody can remove it with enough time. Try not to make it obvious that you know what your target's doing, that'll get them to start looking!
Hash encrypts a file with an algorithm that only the Courier knows how to decrypt. Unlike a normal encryption, the Courier must always be around the file for it to work; the encryption's Resonance itself, so if it leaves the Courier's range, it'll become unencrypted. However, if the Courier is destroyed, the encryption will act as a dead man's switch, corrupting the file and all of its contents.
The Courier has the ability to Data Search! What does this mean? It means that it's much harder to put that move on a list. ***HERE*** is a page detailing the Data Search ability.
This is not a comprehensive list of all the actions a Courier can take, but all the actions that they will be able to use as a baseline. Remember, all Sprites are capable of taking on extra Complex Forms (One for every Three Rating Points), but can not take on any extra skills!
